January 26, 2009 – Eurotech Group today announces that it has earned the 2008 Platinum Embedded Board Vendor award from VDC Research Group. Users placed Eurotech at the highest level, Platinum, based on ratings of more than 45 selection criteria.

The prize, now in its fifth edition, is the result of extensive research conducted by VDC among the top users of merchant computer boards, and underlines the excellent performance by Eurotech in serving its users. Users indicated out of a list of 45 criteria which ones were most important to them, and how well the vendors they worked with did in each of those criteria: not only price, but also technical support, experience, reliability, etc. Vendors who did the best at the most important criteria rose to the Platinum level.
