Technical Support
The ADU (Aircraft Display Unit) was designed for an avionics environment (helicopter) as a highly integrated, stand-alone x86 compatible computing system, complete with Pentium MMX class processor, high efficiency power supply, quarter VGA display and solid state storage.
Enclosed in a rugged 1/4-Turn Dzus Rail Enclosure that meets military mounting specification MS25212, the PC/104-Plus (PCI bus)-based unit incorporates Parvus' CPU-1432, 90 Watt Power supply, a Sharp 3.8” 320x240 QVGA Display, CompactFlash SSD, and thermal measurement sensor. Set up is done through three front-panel control buttons and a Power Switch. Pending software development in a Windows CE environment the 3 various buttons can be enabled to serve various functionalities.
The Compact flash slot allows for boot-from-disk functionality along with use as an external memory source.
