Parvus serves the commercial and military avionics industry with rugged embedded PC components and expert systems engineering and production of embedded computing devices. We leverage our broad expertise in systems integration and electrical/mechanical design and our own complete line of modular PC/104, PC/104-Plus, and PCI-104 computer boards and enclosures to minimize cost, ensure high reliability and accelerate time-to-market for our customers. Our goal is to partner with our customers to provide long-term product life-cycle engineering and production support.
Typical sub-systems developed for avionics customers are devices for monitoring and logging data, displaying aircraft information or for enabling network communication of on-board systems for photo reconnaissance, detection of incoming radar, or generation of audio sound files. Our avionics solutions typically incorporate intelligent x86 processing functionality, along with whatever application specific functionality is required (Ethernet, analog or digital I/O, ARINC 429, or serial interfaces, such as RS-232/422/485, CAN, USB or FireWire). Devices are also incorporate ruggedized packaging to protect against hostile environmental conditions (EMI/EMC, dust, extreme temperatures, water, physical contact, shock/vibration, etc.).
