PRODUCT INFORMATION
The CTR-1462 PC104+ Cardbus interface is a single slot PCMCIA/CardBus interface board. Combining support for both legacy 16-bit PC Cards (PCMCIA) and 32-bit (CARDBUS) modules, this low-power module supports type I, II or III cards. Extensive driver and software support is available for the RICOH CardBus host controller chip for most popular operating systems. Compatibility with Windows is guaranteed with native driver support.
The PCI bus is +3.3V powered and is +5V tolerant. Both +3.3V and +5V cards can be live inserted into the locking socket. The onboard programmable +12V Flash voltage programming voltage generator is provided for +12V memory cards. System configuration options are maximized by the support of both ISA and PCI interrupts in parallel.
General application areas for the CTR-1462 board include removable system expansion such as with mass storage media, Wireless LAN, GPRS, CDMA2000 or 3G UMTS Cellular modems, Bluetooth interface cards or GPS receivers. The CTR-1462 is a fully RoHS compliant, form-fit-function replacement for the CTR-1461.
