PRODUCT INFORMATION
Shown here is a Locomotive Control Interface system, purpose-built for bridging legacy PLC-based controllers and sub-system monitors with a modern x86 based microprocessor control system. This robust communication gateway device features Pentium class processing, dual CAN bus connections, and standard PC interfaces, including Ethernet, VGA, keyboard, and RS-232/422 serial ports.
Housed in a shock-isolated extruded aluminum enclosure with dust proof endcaps and IP67 rated connectors, this control system adds reliable computing capabilities for both retrofit and new locomotive installations. All internal electronics are extended temperature rated and conformally coated to ensure reliable performance in extreme humidity and thermal conditions.
